Honestly. I long for the days when we weren't so technologically-obsessed. I've always loved the technologies of the 70s and 80s and early 90s. I love the look of old phones, old TV's, old computers, old kitchen appliances, old decorating schemes. I guess things just looked better back then and they made products to last longer. The 1980s were just better. EVERYTHING WAS BETTER.

That I was born, that I got to be a kid who played outside and built forts and got poison ivy in the woods-- that now if I was a little kid there's so much focus on technology, no one reads a (real) book outside on a lazy day or plays by the creek telling ghost stories with their friends. At least not without a cell phone or tablet near by. Ah, the simple days..
