Prologue

"You have to go!"
"No. We'll stay. Our friends are here!"
"The Oracle...."
"I don't give a damn about what it says. We're staying put."
A shift in the wind and the second voice continued."It's too late anyway. They approach."
A gust of wind swept through the ranks of the campers and screams erupted. Standing in the lines of campers were twelve beings. Their eyeballs bulged from their sockets and their beaks clicked in the form of a sinister smile. In their hands they held a brown sword which dripped of poison. The thing that held their hilts, however, was just rotten flesh, dripping with worms.

Their beaks clicked once more and the killing spree started.
It was a complete wipe-out.
There was no chance.
Everyone and everything lay on the ground, their eyes dazed as the twelve beings stood, seeminglessly proud.
Then, a green light flashed and another group of twelve were swept away. They lay on the ground of a forest. Their arms were sprawled randomly and their bodies spoke of wounds, though not enough to cause their deaths.
Almost immediately another twelve surrounded the Demigods who were beginning to stir. As one, twelve swords were drawn, pointed confidently at the Demigods.
A teenager, by the looks of it walked forth. His sword was ready at hand, but his eyes spoke of curiosity and fear.
A Demigod stood up.

Sea-green eyes met each other as the two leaders met.

Chapter 1

A boy aged twelve stretched out his hand as he tried desperately to grasp the next rock above him. His legs flailed in the air as his whole body stretched. He planted his legs firmly against a flat portion of the wall and took a leap upwards. He managed and balanced himself, defying the odds of gravity. With amazing speed, he took inter-changing leaps till he finally reached the top of the hill. He strolled towards a pool in the middle of the top area and sat down beside it, his legs submerged in the water.

He loved water. Ever since he found this area at ten, he had come up here despite the protest of his parents. They were a normal family. But a special normal family.
His parents had warned him to bar himself from this area, especially a specific clearing in the middle of the forest. But he didn't listen.
He never did.
And he knew why. His favorite sentence was supposed to explain everything to him, or so his father said. But it was not as if he knew nothing about himself.
Nevertheless, he still liked the sentence.
His father had said it to him.
He said it was a random statement.
Something which just popped out.
But the boy knew better.

It was just a simple sentence, yet it intrigued the boy.
The sea does not like to be restrained.
And the boy.
His name was Alpha.
Alpha Jackson.

Chapter 2

A blue glow of light appeared deep below the depths of the Earth. Something seemed to slide out from a small hole in the Earth. It was stuck mid-blade. Yes, it was a blade. A blue one at that.
And it came to a call.
It's owner was here. And it was only time before the others arrived.

--PAGE BREAK-

Omega Jackson ran swiftly. She had managed to caught sight of the animal on first sight. She leaped over a tree. It would have to rest. And when it did, she would seize that opportunity. It flew upwards and for a moment, Omega thought that it was flying towards a tree, seeking shelter. But as the girl looked, she caught sight of a hill. With skilled hands, she ascended the mount of Earth. When she got up, she caught sight of someone, a boy by the looks of his built. Not just any boy. He brushed a strand of jet-black hair away from his eyes.

"Looking for this sis?" Alpha Jackson grinned, the owl on his shoulder.
He carefully transferred the owl to her sister's lean shoulder.
"Thanks. It's just I feel a connection towards it. Grey owls actually."
"Just like my weird fascination for water. Sea-water especially."
"Weird huh?" They mouthed together.
But just then, a ball of fire landed a few miles from them. And someone or something was rushing towards them.

Chapter 3

The two kids turned.
A Giant of a body was heading towards them. It's horns were sharpened and it's body was ripped. As it walked, the Earth trembled.
"The thing's causing an earthquake somewhere in the world now." Alpha joked.
"Oh quiet. It's a Minotaur isn't it?"
"Yep. But it looks weird."
"Okaaay. So maybe we should run?"
"On three then."
"3."
"HEY I SAID THREE."

The creature roared as it charged at the two kids. It's horns were poised in the front, ready for an attack. The girl tripped. The creature growled, seeing his chance. He slammed towards them, but hit a tree as the boy managed to lift his sister up.

But they wouldn't last long.
The Minotaur, if it was a Minotaur growled. It's blue hands lifted themselves and swung towards an adult tree. The object flew.

Alpha Jackson's were wide with horror as he felt the swishing through the air. He turned and was greeted with an uprooted tree swerving towards them.
He had to protect his sister at all cost.
His brain was on auto as he stood in front of her and thrust out his arms. Seawater roared in the distance . Just as the tree reached them, a rush of waters intercepted and carried the tree back towards it's owner, slapping the creature a good distance.

The duo panted.
But just then, the air hummed.
Something was slicing it's way from the sky towards them.
Heads lifted.
Two objects marked themselves onto the ground.
Grey and green aura fused.
There, in front of Alpha and Omega stood two of the twelve blades, awakened and ready.

Chapter 4
Alpha Jackson

My hands trembled.
Yep.
I trembled.
But come on.
Two supernatural normal-like blades suddenly fell from the heavens in front of you.
How would you feel?

I walked forth, my sister by my side. My eyes drifted towards the sparkling green blade. It's hilt was encrusted in the jewels of the sea. It's blade glowed with a green aura of unspoken power.
It was silent.
Yet it was powerful.
Always a danger.

My arm stretched out, the fingers unravelling themselves, drawn towards the unknown object.
"Alpha we shouldn't......"

The first time I touched the blade, it was as cold as ice.
I lifted it and warmth filled out of it's hilt down my arm.
It was a familiar feeling, yet and unexpected one too.
But it spoke to me.
And I knew that Omega felt it too.
An untold story.
It was unwrapping itself.
Seeking out,
seeking.......us.

Chapter 5

He ran. That was about the only thing he could do, both before and now. His shoes skimmed the floor's surface. Incoming object. He jumped. The distance between the flat of his shoes and the ground heightened. He was flying, in a human sense.

But then he never felt human.
Not completely.
His arms shielded his face as an incoming branch hanging dangerously low came into his sight.
At the last moment, he ducked and slid across the forest floor, causing leaves to flutter in every direction.
An arrow whizzed past his ear, nearly severing it. A dark form slid in pace with him and materialized into a boy. His dark hairs and eyes were about the only darkened complexion on him. Behind, he heard the sound of two other arrows being notched before they sprang out of the bow that held them.
