Before I ran away that fateful June day, I had always believed that evildoers would get their cummupance.
Now I'm not so sure. Most thinking observers would point out that given my stepfather lives a happy life outside the California State Penitentiary, that obviously isn't the case.
If a monster of a mankind, who abuses children can make off like a bandit in life, who can't?
I used to live deluded.
Now I know the horrible truth, and that changes every fucking thing.
