The next film in The Hunger Games trilogy, "Catching Fire", will begin filming in North Carolina this coming Fall, 2012. With four-time Academy Award nominee Gary Ross announcing that he will not be returning to direct Catching Fire, there is a good chance that a different casting director will be hired. It is most often the director who chooses the casting director, and three-time Casting Society of America Artios Award winner Debra Zane has cast every film that Gary Ross has directed or produced since 1998 including "Pleasantville", "Seabiscuit", and "The Tale of Despereaux". Zane would likely cast Ross' next project instead of "Catching Fire".
