The Hunger Games Who did a better job?

In The Hunger Games, at the Capitol, Peeta told Katniss about wanting to come out of the Games the same person, not have them make him into a monster. Katniss, practical girl that she is (was?), didn't really care as long as she came out alive. Do you think the scales tipped by the end of the book? Did Katniss or Peeta do a better job of upholding their values and staying the same person?

Thats a very difficult question because you never reaally lear Peetas values other than that he loves Katniss. you know Katniss like you would your best friend after reading the book. I really would have to say Katniss did a better job of upholding her values but the Games changed her more than they did Peeta I believe
