2. Favorite album
It’s been 11 years since I first listened to Americana, but every track still has the same effect on me, even though my music taste has changed a lot since then. Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace comes in close second.

It’s been 11 years since I first listened to Americana, but every track still has the same effect on me, even though my music taste has changed a lot since then. Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace comes in close second.

Dexter Holland. I mean, what’s not to love about this man? He writes most of the songs, he is a licensed pilot and he has a fucking PhD in molecular biology. Is there anything this man can’t do?

Pete Parada, since he’s been on the drums for the majority of the time I’ve been a fan. He is a pretty good drummer. Such a shame his disease doesn’t allow him to get vaccinated. 💔

Rock in Rio 2013. I watched it via cable and it was an amazing experience. Not gonna put the video here because YouTube will probably take it down anytime due to copyright, but if you’re a true Offspring fan, I strongly recommend that you watch it some time.

Only three: Ixnay on the Hombre, Greatest Hits, and Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. Those were the ones I found in the town where I live when there were CD stores still around.

It used to be Feelings, but lately I’ve been hearing Smash over and over again, and it surprised me how much Killboy Powerhead grew on me. It’s a great song that didn’t strike me that much the first times I heard it.

So many! But I think I choose Slim Pickens Does the Right and Rides the Bomb to Hell, due to the fact that many people overpass their most recent work and this is one of their best. The lyrics are inspired and humorous, and the melody/arrangement/progression/whatever is very addicting! Not to mention, it makes reference to one of the greatest movies ever made. So yeah, 10/10.

She’s Got Issues is the only song I don’t like out of Americana and I can’t understand why it’s a single when all the other songs are literally masterpieces.

Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace! Not only is my favorite artwork, but it also means a lot to me, since it’s the first album of theirs I heard and I listened to it non-stop during a very messed-up time of my life. It’s the only thing I think about getting tattooed someday.
