The Sound of Music Question

The real Maria (the person Maria was based on) made a cameo apperance in the movie. When does she appear?

According to my Music teacher the person Maria was based on had a cameo apperance in the movie, crossing a street in Salzurg. He told our class thathe has tried looking through all of the scenes, yet he can't seem to find her. I've trie looking, however I can't spot her either. Does anyone know when the cameo apperance was made?

The real Maria Von-Trapp appears during the 'I Have Confidence' song whilst Julie Andrews' Maria goes through the archway... you have to look carefully, but she is there in the background. It's not a very obvious cameo appearance and I think that I heard somewhere that the real Maria wanted a big cameo but the film-makers had something a little smaller in mind! Hope that helps!
