Do vampires have other abilities?

I watched the episode where Damon makes Jeremy forget,,,I didn't know that vampires can erase memories and put thoughts inside peoples' heads,,so What other abilities do vampires have?

He doesn't so much have the power to "erase memories" they have the power of compulsion-so they can pretty much tell anyone,anything they want. With Jeremy,he just told him to "know" something different. They also have strength,speed, better reflexes,better hearing..
