I like Stefan but i don't find his character that unique and i don't like the self-righteous aspect of his character. Damon is unique, damaged, profound, blunt, passionate, funny, brave etc and he does acts of heroism out of love and seeks no reward - the definition of hero - yet he still lets people think otherwise. The characters is beautifully written with one of the greatest actors of all time playing him, he is rather flawless.
