I like more Stefan, but really think they love her the same amount. Damon loves her a lot too.

Nunu-VP: I'm more for Damon, but I appreciate the level to which Stefan cares for Elena. And, yes, Damon does love you A LOT!

This one is though... Till the end of S3 I'd totally say they love her the same amount, but in S4 I got really disappointed with Stefan's attitude toward Elena. The best thing he always gave her were support & acceptance. When she became vampire, he tried to fix her personal past mistakes making her "Stefan 2.0 improved version" instead of focusing on her needs, all this "fixing" stuff, "she's not supposed to be that person" (who on Earth is SUPPOSED to be a vampire?!), not being able to accept her choice (he accepted her will to die, but can't accept her will to be with DAmon? Come on...)... All these aspects made me chose the answer that Damon loves her (a bit) more, but maybe soon we'll learn something that will change my mind again.

PPPopopipop: You make some really good points. Stefan has been really annoying me in the past two episodes. He was never my favorite character, but losing Elena has shown how he deals with crisis and it's not all that flattering. However, it is better than Damon's killing spree--but i think/hope he's over that phase. I don't think that Damon loves Elena more, per say. But, I would say that he loves her differently that Stefan.

If it wasn't for the way Stefan has been toward her since she turned i would have picked that they love her in different ways. But it no longer seems that way. Damon loves her unconditionally and Stefan doesn't feel the same way about her as he used to. He loves her, he's just not in love with her like he used to be. Damon on the other hand loves her the same whether she's human, vampire, is with him or not with him, ANYTHING!

He loves her they way she is and for who she is.
Damon's love for her in unconditional, Stefan's love has conditions.

I think that in so many ways Damon's love for Elena is selfish and unnatural. Stefan's love is pure and as he has shown, selfless. But that is my opinion, of course.

Damon loves her as a vampire, human, or any other way. He loves her the way she is and Stefan can't...

I think, they both love her, but Damon can respect her love more, because he never been loved.

I know for a fact that Stefan loves Elena and Elena loves Stefan. I just feel like Damon loves her more because of S4
