I still can't wait for S5, but season 4 was well below par. Delena didn't feel like Delena, overall very predictable and SO MANY plot holes! Felt like I was watching halloween episodes of the Simpsons, or something.

The only thing that saved this season for me was the finale. even if I ignored the Delena moments (which were amazing!), I felt like this was the only episode in the entire season that felt like it was the same show I've been watching for four years.

I'm very excited to watch the next season and I really hope it get's better. I got disapointed, I was very excited about Elena becoming a vampire, she was a very strong human, so I thought as a vampire she would be like that as well, but she was just as needy as ever, so I hope Elena grows as a character next season. The season's storylines were kinda boring, but the final episodes saved the season...
I hope season 5 returns to the vampire diaries I knew in other seasons.

Even I am a DE fan, this season was weak

I enjoyed S3 and have not seen S4 but Im excited to get on to it! I LOVED PAUL WESLEY he is an amazing actor in my opinion and just so damn sexy, I hope Elena makes the right decision and ends up with Stefan.

Season 4 was all over the place for me, with very few memorable moments.

Beside that DE anoyed me all the time, all this thing about Silas and Bonnie was boring. I also expected more scenes with Katherine.

It was neither 'wack' nor the best. It was a good season, but as the above fans said it was a bit boring. Elena finally making up her mind was certainly a good development, because the whole love triangle thing was getting far too boring at that point, and as much as the whole cure plot was twisted, I have to say that I find Silas' story and background interesting. However none of that makes up for the fact that two of my most favourite characters died: Kol and Bonnie. I didn't care much of Jeremy, in fact I think he should've been the one to die and not Bonnie. She's much more useful than him, really.
