If it about this poll, I say Stefan. I read the books but not the series. I say Stefan and Elena because in the books, Elena did everything in her power to get him. And yes, she said she had feelings for Damon, but her love for Stefan is stronger. That is proven when she went and saved him from the Dark Dimension. Also, she do feel guilty when she do something with Damon behind Stefan's back. Like Ethan said: Stefan was moral and Damon was ruthless. Damon was Elena's darker mirror image but she chose Stefan. I'll read the series, but it seems like its WAY different than the books. But I'll still be angry if its not Stelena. And she said she don't want to be in any kind of romantic relationship with anyone but Stefan. She always yearns for Stefan even when they're separated. I have nothing against the Damon fans. Yes, Damon may do things Stefan won't, but Elena don't want to hurt humans when she was a vampire. So Stefan is the better choice. Stefan will give his life to protect Elena and for Damon. In the book, she met Stefan first and loved him first. Thats why she feels guilty about cheating on him with Damon. During the books, I got angry when she hurt Stefan and for a brief moment, I thought: "Stefan should leave you forever and never come back and let you suffer through misery." But I thought, nah, he'll be back by her side in the end. And after the incident with the Vitale Society, they are and Damon accepts that. And he wants to be brothers again with Stefan, so he ain't gonna do anything that will tarnish that again that will lead to their deaths yet again. Please let it be Stefan and Elena because they belong together. Stefan been in pain and misery for a long time and maybe Damon as well, but Elena should choose Stefan. What if Damon needs blood and Elena is the only one who is able to help him at that time? Well, Damon will die if he don't get blood. And Elena don't want Stefan to look at her with dislike if he knew she let his brother die and was able to help him. So she might let him drink her blood, but stop him when he is able to move around himself.

i think damon needs somebody who doesn't judge him and who isnt waiting for him to mess up
