She didn't really care that much that Stefan died. I know Damon is her boyfriend but can't she at least pretend to be upset about Bonnie's death. Elena going with Damon to blow up the grill was really selfish they had a plan to get the dead back but the plan could go wrong and she didn't even think about Jeremy if she did die and didn't come back.

YES! She didn't even care that Stefan or Bonnie died! Like charmeddexter said, I know Damon is her boyfriend, but Bonnie and Stefan are two of her best friends, and she barely batted an eyelash about their deaths! Even when Stefan came back she barely even noticed.
God this fucking girl! I used to like her so much, but she just makes me want to punch her in the stomach now.

You gotta be kidding!! She died with Damon to bring Stefan back. Stefan came back. Damon didn't! She didn't knew Bonnie was gonna die so we didn't see her reaction. Oh stop!

That was only because she wanted to be with Damon if they didn't come back. When Elena first found out Stefan was dead and Caroline was talking about the plan to bring him back the look on Elena's face wasn't oh no Stefan might be gone for good it was oh crap how do I tell her he might not come back. When she first saw Stefan after his death she ran past him and didn't even look at him and then when he told her to go and he would stay to find Damon she got really shitty at him. After Stefan and Elena came back and Damon wasn't back YET she wasn't happy Stefan was alive again. The finale proved to me that Elena doesn't give a shit about Stefan.

Not at all. She didn't really have time to react to Stefan dying and they were all convinced that he would come back. Also Stefan is her friens & she is in love with Damon, of course Damon dying would hurt a lot more. All she saw in her future was Damon, and that was taken away. So of course she was heartbroken.
It was not that she wasn't happy about Stefan being alive again, it was that she didn't want to leave without Damon but she was forced to. And Stefan promised that he would wait for Damon, Elena didn't know that he accidentally touched Bonnie at the time. Elena did nothing wrong. The only reason people think she was awful is that she showed that she loves Damon more than Stefan. A fact that has already been made clear this season. This Elena hatred is getting old.

Caroline was also convinced Stefan would come back but she actually showed she was devastated. Damon dying would hurt more but he wasn't gone yet Elena made it back to Bonnie on her own and there was a very good chance Damon would as well when Stefan came through Bonnie was still there waiting for Damon she could have shown she was happy Stefan was back while waiting for Damon. The reason I think she was awful is she showed she only cares about Damon and doesn't give a shit about Stefan. Elena didn't even show she cared about Stefan. If this was the first episode someone watched they would probably think Stefan is just Damon's brother and that's the only relationship they have.

I used to love Delena and I've never really liked Stefan so I'm not a Stelena fan or a Stefan fan it's just that Elena pissed me off for being a bitch.

But sorry do you blame her for loving Damon? She loves him. She loves him more than anything. She said she can't live without him. I can see truth in that....When you love someone and when you're about to lose them forever, you just think about him. Him and only him. They died together. They should come back together. That was the plan from the beggining. And how unfair. He sacrificed himself to save everyone and he ended dead!

They died together but that doesn't mean they should come back together Damon could have fallen over or could have found an old friend. She was only thinking about Damon but if she cared about Stefan she should have at leats of said Hey Stefan glad you're ok. I don't believe she cares about him and I won't until she shows it.

If the situation were reversed & Stelena were together and Damon was the one they had to go after, i would be willing to bet $1,000,000 that you wouldn't give a damn whether or not Elena made sure to acknowledge she had been worried about Damon/sad that the died. In fact, I'm almost certain you'd probably be celebrating!

This has NOTHING to do with ships it has to do with Elena and how everyone thinks she is a good loving caring friend when the finale proves (to me at least) that she doesn't give a shit about anyone except herself and Damon. I want the old Elena back the one that loves her friends and sacrificed herself for Matt and Bonnie.

Stop hating on Elena!!! The girl has been through every kind of hell this season, and yet she came back stronger than ever. She is hands down one of the most deep, complex and admiring characters yet people seem to hate on her because superficially she seems annoying. Give her a fucking break.
