	Anna_JH picked 8-7: It's good, I just didn't find myself THAT interested in it.: The books are hit and miss. For example I forced my way through The Awakening because I really hated Elena in it lol. However The Struggle/The Fury/Reunion were brilliant in my opinion; angst, romance, danger, humour - they had the lot. Nightfall was good but not great, it dragged in a few parts but would eventually make up for it. Shadow Souls was brilliant... especially for Delena fans such as myself, hehe. Although the show surpasses the books by a long way, I'd still give them a shot. They are enjoyable :D posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago

I'm a Delena shipper and I found the latest one (Shadow Souls, I think) was the best. It was the one they were in the vampire world or some shit. I dunno. I never really got into the books. I grew up reading the books and to me they beat the show ten times over. But of course ppl will always like whichever the saw/read first more than the other. So either way it's biased. But I hope you do read them and enjoy them as much as the show. Just to warn you though, they are DRASTICALLY different to the show. Sometimes it got a bit boring but before you make up your mind about it you have to at least read up to 'The Fury' LOVED THEM! The ones continuing from that were'nt as good as the 1st half! :) posted over a year ago.
