Well they are not my fave friendship (my fave is: Breyton from One Tree Hill:)) but i think they are really good good bestfriends and a lot of us can only dream to have a friend like Bonnie. I just got the impression that Bonnie care a lil bit more but I hope its just for now only my impression :)

I love Bonnie but Elena is a terrible friend when Bonnie has to deal with all the witch thing and the death of her grandma, Elena could only think in which brother she want to kiss ewwww bad bad friend, Bonnie deserves a better girlfriend...

I'm indifferent about them. I much prefer it when Caroline is with them, rather than Elena and Bonnie as a pair :-)

I like them. But I like the friendship between Bonnie and Caroline more. Once Bonnie came to her senses with the whole vampire thing.

Elena is hardly there for Bonnie, like I love Elena but she isn't really a good friend. And I get her life was getting messed up with Vampires but Bonnie was still there for her even when she found out she was a witch. I think Caroline and Bonnie have a better friendship, but Bonnie and Elena are good friends as
well :D

Though I agree that Elena hasn't been the bestest friend, neither has Bonnie. I honestly think that everyone makes mistakes, and Elena isn't perfect, but no one is and Elena has still been there for Bonnie.

However, their friendship doesn't really do anything for me. I don't think they represent a "real" friendship and I think that's reserved for Caroline/Elena- this is the type of friendship a lot of people have, loving each other, being there for each other, not always agreeing but the friendship coming through in the end because it's strong.

I am sorry to disagree, Elena has always been there for Bonnie when she could. It is Bonnie that is the terrible friend. Don't hate me for saying this but if you paid attention, it was actually Bonnie's fault, thinking she couldtake on the vampire's when she was new to the craft. She cannot handle the powerful stuff as proven, you can't blame Elena, when Bonnie also hates Vampires and tries to kill her boyfriend because she is upset and pissed off. Her stuff is her fault. I do feel bad but she caused it herself.
Caroline atleast tries to be a friend. Bonnie just is a friend when it suites her.Please don't get mad at me it is what happens on the show.
