p.s. please explain your answer in comments:) I've heard some tvders accuse us Damon lovers of keeping him from being responsible for anything he does. I think to some of us, he can do no wrong!But I don't shelter him! I know Damon can grow!I dunno...what does everybody think?

I LOVE Damon, but he makes mistakes like everybody else, and there were some moments I was really pissed at him... He reacts impulsively and in most cases that's not good... I love him, but I didn't support all of his actions...

There are persons he really cares about and will do anything to protect them, but he can kill anyone else in a second and not feel guilty at all...

The moment I was really pissed at him was in s1 when he killed Lexie. She didn't deserve it and she didn't do anything to him... Also when he killed Alaric the first time (well... the second time, too), or Jeremy. But he changed a lot since the beginning of the show, and he can and should take responsibility for his actions.

Of course. I love Damon but he screws up big time. He alone is responsible for his mistakes. But the positive thing is he knows that. I love the flawed characters that screws up big time but still can be redeemed. I know Damon is far from perfect. But the flawed characters are the best.

I think a lot of people shelter him also, while he does own up to his mistakes, i don't think he will ever make up for them completely.

I love Damon but he's done some much i would never forgive him if i was Elena.
