McNeel has always had a sense of order since childhood. Wanting things to stay as they were in a perfect manner without chaos. It was this desire to keep order that pushed him to join his hometown’s investigations division in Washington at a young age. Though he was always able to solve the cases handed to them with accuracy and in a timely manner, his methods of questioning and investigating were considered strange by his fellow officers, even offensive. How he would always question things illogically, like a ship capsizing due to a sea creature or a giant knocking down the door to a victim's room, it was always things like that. It was those unorthodox questions that earned the attention of the Constables unit and got him the job there, where his questions were more ordinary.

~Personality~

-McNeel is always straight forward with his questions. He will always move towards questioning as fast as he can, and will ask whatever is on his mind, no matter how odd or even inappropriate it may be. If a conversation is going nowhere, he will follow with a casual remark and move on without the other person getting a word out

-McNeel has a habit of laughing when a conversation is going nowhere to make the situation less awkward, or at least, less awkward for himself

-McNeel has a strong sense of order, everything must be as it is without anything being out of place. This is what pushed him to join the investigations division, not out of justice, but to keep society in its rightful place, without chaos and disturbance
