Yah it wasn't his hand he was looking at. It was the lack of fire that he was noticing. And they went to the bad place this season. I don' like what they are doing with the sookie's blood thing.
I don't know why, but I think I've seen some blisters... Then again, I was watching the episode on my computer, so I guess I can blame it on the quality of the file. But yes, when he went into the woods, there was a hint of smoke coming from him... or maybe I'm wrong?

yeah there was but it wasn't bursting flames like i think season 1 when he caught on fire
I think he was surprised to see that he was not burning up from the sun and he looked at his hand in surprise because of that. However when we was bolting into the woods I did see a faint shadow of dust...
