Why won't Bill just turn Sookie already? She keeps getting into trouble, they keep having to save her. She truly loves Bill, she's aging and he's not. Why not just freeze time while she's in her prime?

Demon/Maenid slashing, soldiers of the sun basement, not being able to sleep with your lover, aging while he doesn't.

What's a good reason for sookie NOT to be turned? I don't see it. Plus, you'd save on a crapload of food money.
