In the books, Sookie is smarter, less obnoxious and a much more relatable character. It's a combination of the casting choice (and Anna's inability to, y'know, ACT) and the writing that makes show!Sookie so awful. In my opinion, anyway. I'm sure some people like her. *shrug*

Moving on. Kristin Bauer van Straten is gorgeous. The end. =P
