Yeah the got on the bed because Bella said that if she rolled over on the couch she would have landed on the floor an she was way too comfortable. So she would have had to been on the bed. Also Edward asked Bella what it was about "this" bed that she objected to, which also points to the fact they were indeed on the bed.
