What do you think vampire diaries would've been like without katherine?

Me and twilightlover73 were chatting about this giving our own reasons. What do you think vampire diaries would be like if there was no Katherine from the beginning? Or if she will get killed very soon? What would be your reaction? What would be your thoughts? Here is a chance to give your own opinions and reasons. I wonder what everyone thinks about her.

Well here are my thoughts:

1. Without Katherine, Stefan and Damon would have stayed human and died a long time ago.
2. If it wasn't for Katherine, Elena wouldn't have been even born.
3. If Katherine wasn't there, Caroline would have stayed her old human annoying self and never been that awesome.
4. If Katherine didn't compel Matt Tyler would have never become a werewolf.
5. Last but lot least, if there was no Kat, Elijah, Klaus and Rebekah would have been looking for a totally different person and we might have never even known they existed.

So Katherine pretty much makes up the whole show doesn't she?
