Underworld Question

In the first movie Lucian says that he took a vampire for his bride. Does that mean that he and Sonja were married in "Rise of the Lycan", or was he being metaphorical?

I knew that she was pregnant, but I didn't know if they were married. You dont have to be married to be pregnant.

It was 600 years ago and it was forbidden if you watch the movie or underworld again then it will make more sense

I don't know exactly when the movie took place but way back in the day in order for someone to be considered married they just had to sleep together.
