Both have their strong and weak points, the movie kinda tweaked the book a bit but it was ok, not as good as the book but both are still awesome.

thatkoolguy picked Graphic Novel:
the novel i thought was so much better, more happens. Its deeper and more extreme regarding everyones actions. An example is that Eric Finch takes two hits of acid to try to see things from V's perspective. I personally believe the novel is more adventrous in plot, idea and actions.

Admittedly, the movie is COMPLETELY different from the book. Natalie Portman is NOT the shy, vulnerable hooker with a heart of gold the book tuaght us.

Also, V in the movie is a lot less evil than the book version. In the book, V didn't kill Prothero. He burned his collection of life-size dolls in a cremation overn, then tortured him to the point of insanity.

The movie just cut out so many amazing parts of the book that I can't put it on the same level. However, it is good, even if I hold a grudge for making V cry when in the book the moment was very happy.
