What do you think of Van's official DVD - The Live in Montreux 1974 and 1980 Shows? I think it's a bit boring considering how fantastic his shows normally are. I prefer "Bridges to Babylon" DVD by the Rolling Stones.

I agree with Mike. Since it's Van's only official DVD you gotta have it but it's not as good as the live concert I saw him do in Europe.

Let's say it - "Period of Transition" is terrible and this DVD isn't great.

I think the DVD is great. It's no frills but so is Van. Perhaps some of you would be better off at a Lady Gaga concert. Yoiu get the whole celebrite package. The frills, the feathers and more recently, the egg!

I love the DVD. What about the one called "Van Morrison Under Review"? They have it on ebay for around $15. You've got to buy it.
