It's really good for people who like meat but don't want to eat meat. I'm not too big a fan of it myself, but then again I never was a hardcore meat eater.
I will have quorn every once in a while though; it's kind of a chicken substitute, and it's nice in risottos. You can get quorn nuggets and cutlets too, which are nice (I had quorn cutlets this Christmas).
But don't worry if you don't like fake meats. Personally I prefer mexican bean burgers to tofu burgers (I love spicy food) and there are other alternatives you can have that don't resemble any kind of meat.
Really, what's important is getting a balanced diet. You can get it from fake meats if you choose to, but if not there are other vegetarian options you can get all the right nutrition from too.
LOVE IT!!! I eat fake sausage and bacon for breakfast almost every day! And it's good to know you aren't eating animals in the process. ^^ It would be so awesome if everyone could be vegetarian and just eat fake meat!
Fake meat is good. I just don't bother with it anymore because veggies cost less at the supermarket. Maybe one day I'll return to it, but not until I have the funds...also tofu is much cheaper and lasts longer.
Oh not too special actually. Usually just chop up about a 1/4 of the cube and throw it in my veggies, over rice with different kinds of sauces. Easy & yummy.
I've never had it, and I never want to. Meat made me sick, that's the main reason I quit 5 years ago... so I don't even WANT to bother with the fake kind!
