I don't know how it is in your country, but in mine we have special boxes at chemist's where you put that medicine and they take care of it. Just don't throw it to the toilet.

That's a great idea. They don't do that here. I'm in the USA. What country are you from?
I am not 100% sure but in the UK you can either take them to your doctors surgery or to a pharmacist I think certainly my madicated handcream says take back to the pharmacist you got it from. Hope that helps
