When describing beasts with nothing but bloodlust in mind how do you describe them?

i have an idea of how i'm going to write it i just want some ideas on how you guys would do it.
I'm describing a wolf that attacks a gypsy camp in Europe at this point in the story.
The story is being told from a gypsy woman's point of view telling a gruesome tale from her past. I'm planning to switch points of view for a moment like shes recalling it as it happened.
Sort of how they'd tell it in the movies.
