How can I develop my language and writing?

I want to be able to convey things better than I can now. Any suggestions about how I can do that?

I agree with ripper :o i really never read anymore, but i write tons ! i have noticed since i stopped reading my writing has gotten kinda sloppy and im having trouble putting what i want into words on paper. Now i have started reading again and observing actual published works and the technique they use through out their writings. I helped me a lot. I even sometimes read articles and stories people post on fanpop XD.

I read like every blue moon. In I think that I have to start reading more because I'm getting harder classes
