Help me! with certain thing in my story

ok in my story the main characters go in a elevator but accidentally go to the wrong place now i was wondering what should me in the room the found? i had an idea for it to be a secret lab or something but i also wanted it to be other stuff please tell me some ideas!

Maybe it can be somewhere with an old treasure. Or maybe they can find an library with important books... But, if it is possible in your story, they can find an old prison, where there is an immortal witch that made wrong thing in the past... And they can also find an uncommon animal loked ...
