What jobs would angels do?

I'm currently planning a new project, a story that has angels in it. The story is set in a magical world that I made up so religions are different, which means the Biblical traditions of "angels" do not apply, at least not entirely. There are only a few High Angels, The Angels of Death, Life, War, Peace, Sorrow and Joy. What kinds of jobs should these angels have? I have very few ideas, for instance I know that they weave the fabric of the universe with whatever thing (that scientific term though) they control and they must be in balance for the universe to be stable, but of course each of the angels, particularly War and Joy want their threads to dominate, but that isn't really the point of the story. Also I have worked out that The Angel of Death escorts dead souls to their rightful place in the Netherworld, and the sound that must be punished, she throws into The River of Death where they glide up and down stream for eternity, she also sings the death song upon their death and is often accompanied by a pair of Banshees. But I'm not exactly sure what the other angels' jobs could be, so I would very much appreciate some suggestions, as long as they are sensible of course. I do want The Angel of War to be a little bit on the insane side as illustrated in one of her descriptions "a glint of madness in her berry red eyes" and also she is very fond of The Death. On a similar note The Angel of Life is very protective of pregnant women as they of course carry another soon-to-be living being within them.
So if you may have any ideas on the jobs of the angels apart from weaving the fabric of the universe and the things I've listed The Angel of Death does, I would be very grateful. Thank you in advance.

in many cases, other than religion, angels are guards or protectors. One thing I've read was that the angel of life and the angel of death have always been good friends. That life sends death many 'gifts'. aka, souls, and death takes them gratefully, and yet sometimes, returns the gifts if need be. War and Joy don't always get along, hence the scenarios, but in some places work together with peace to make things work out, like when a treaty is signed or something. The angel of Sorrow often regulates emotions and moods, such as those who have trouble with mood regulations or depression over a good thing, sorrow works like best friends with joy to keep the world equal between happiness for those who should be happy and those who should feel sad because of certain situations. I hope this helps! :)
