Chapter 3 of my story. It does get a bit more dramatic and a wee bit violent/scary but it will make sense as I go further along.

Chapter 3
Koda stood just outside his school, only 10 minutes until the first bell rang. He was thinking about what Jax told him with his dream. He knew he shouldn’t let it bother him but it kept picking at his conscience like a crow was picking at his heart.
It was just a drunken dream, he told himself.
His thoughts quickly turned to anger as he began to remember how his family always treated him.
An outcast, a screw up…
The bell rang causing him to come back from his angered mind and rush towards the door before he got into more trouble with his principle who also treated him as a screw up.
Racing through the hallways of his high school he managed to get to classroom door before it even closed until he felt a strong grip on his shoulder that made him stop in a dead freeze.
I’m screwed.
He turned to face his principle.
Principle Nakai was the same height as he was but his face and body was built like a warrior…and he looked like one too.
Straight black hair past his shoulders and braided in the traditional Indian style. His skin was a deep reddish brown, almost darker than Koda’s. Dressed in a business suit, which made him look like a CEO of a company instead of a school principle, he looked like he could take down any competitor without any mercy.
“Late again Koda,” he said in his deep Indian chief voice.
“Not really, I just made it to the door. I would have gotten in if you hadn’t stopped me.”
Oops, Koda grimaced, shouldn’t have said that.
Principle Nakai’s hand went from his shoulder to the back of his neck….hard.
“Ow! Damn not so hard man!” he shouted as Nakai dragged him to his office.
Koda was shoved into the office, nearly slamming into the chair in front of him. He was about to say something in protest but decided against it, he didn’t need more trouble.
Nakai sat across from him at his desk, staring straight through Koda’s face. His face had no expression except for maybe a hint of ‘you make me want to kill you’ in his eyes.
“You Koda, are not ready to be a man”
Oh great, not you too.
“In fact, I don’t think you’ll ever be ready”
“Thanks for the encouragement,”
“You’re expelled.”
Koda’s eyes went wide.
“What? Why?” he exclaimed.
He couldn’t believe he was getting kicked out for being nearly late for school.
“I have my reasons, now get out.”
“A little harsh aren’t we? I didn’t do anything wrong buddy.”
Koda was getting angry by the second.
“You’ve done plenty.”
Koda got out of his chair and started to walk out.
He stopped.
His breathing became hard and fast, feeling his rage start to overflow his senses.
Without thinking or even realizing his movements he turned sharply back to Nakai, grabbing the desk and flipping it over, toppling his principle.
Koda looked over at the desk wreckage, seeing Nakai on his back with blood dripping down his face from where his head hit his office chair. He was barely conscious.
“I had plenty of reasons to do that.”
As I said, a wee bit violent at the end but not too bad...will make sense later on with the character.

'It was March 1957 and I was taking photographs in Paris.1 afternoon I went up the Bastille and I saw 2 lovers on a balcony. They were standing very near each other. They were talking.I took just 1 photo and they didn't hear me.I called it Lovers at the Bastille.Luckily for me this photo became very popular in France.Soon posters and postcards with my picture of the 2 lovers were everywhere. But I never knew who the 2 young people were. They never contacted me.'
'30 years later I had an exhibition of my photos in Paris.I was talking to some friends when suddenly a man came up to me and said,'I know your 2 lovers. They live near here.I can take you there if you want.'I immediately decided to go and meet them. This was their story.'
