“Hey, bitches!” Espen laughed throwing open the door. His blonde hair fell into his eyes. “Come on in,” he stepped aside and let us all pass. One by one, we all trailed into the crowded, alcohol smelling living room.
Music was softly playing behind everyone’s chatter. Boys and girls danced with and groped one another. In a corner, some students I recognized sat in a group smoking. A few boys stood in the kitchen, cups of liquor in their hands.
“Tatum, Nia, and I are going with Shayde and Lear to pick a game, you coming?” Celeste asked from beside me.
I didn’t bother to look at her as I answered. “No,” I told her boredly.
Celeste shrugged, then soon disappeared into the crowd of people. I went into the kitchen where Espen now stood. I took a plastic cup and filled it with tequila. I took a sip, but nearly spit it out when Espen smacked me on the back.
“Hey, Malak! I haven’t seen you in a while,” he told me. By his voice it sounded like the beginning effects of alcohol consumption were taking him over.
“I saw you last weekend,” I informed Espen matter of factly. His face fell.
“Aren’t you just so remember-ful?” He stuck his tongue out at me as I slowly shook my head.
After deciding not to snap at him and settling on something different, I said, “So, what’s the party celebrating?” Espen looked at me as if I were stupid, then thwacked me on the back of the head. “The end of the school year, stupid!”
I rubbed at the spot woundedly. “Oh,” I drawled lamely. Espen nodded then a look of amusement played on his tanned face, a sparkle shone in his brown eyes. “What?” I asked with an eyebrow raised.
He looked back at me then burst out laughing. Espen gave a thumbs-up to someone in the crowd. “Nothing.” With another fit of laughter he walked away.
I felt it as my mouth dropped open. He didn’t tell me. What an ass. I took another sip of the tequila in hand, hissing as it touched the back of my throat. I glanced over to my side feeling a warm presence. Sayer slouched there, a cup of what I believed to be whiskey in his hand.
“Espen just came up to me laughing. Do you know why?” Sayer looked at me lazily, an eyebrow arching upward.
“No, but he did it to me too. I figure it was the vodka,” I nodded.
“Perhaps,” Sayer mused, shifting his weight to his other foot. He put his free hand into the black pocket of his jeans. I watched a couple in the corner as they heavily made-out. Their hands roaming all over one another. I looked away when his hand slipped up her shirt.
“It’s like soft porn,” I muttered irritated.
Sayer chuckled beside me, eyeing the couple. Should’ve figured he would. “It could be worse,” he told me with a smirk. “It could be guy sex.”
I thought this over for a moment. “You’re right, at least I can get off to them,” I nodded, looking back over at the couple.
“Have you done Celeste yet? Because if you haven’t, I know the perfect guy-”
I cut Sayer off. “I’m planning on it tonight.”
Sayer looked back at me, shocked for a moment. “Really? I’m so proud!” He gushed.
I glared at him as he smirked. “Don’t be an ass.”
“Guys!” I looked down at my elbow where Tatum was clinging. “Come on! We’re playing truth or dare!” Her words slurred slightly. “It’s been a while since I’ve played that,” I noted, Sayer taking a place by his sister.
“Let’s go!” He pointed forward and dashed into the crowd madly. Tatum pulled on my arm, tugging me through the clump of sweating bodies.
Finally, we emerged from the group and saw a small circle of people smoking and drinking. Tatum and I went over to find the group consisted of Nia, Celeste, Sayer, Lear, Shayde, and Espen.
I took a seat in between Sayer and Celeste-who passed her joint over to me. I took it from her gratefully.
“The game,” announced Lear-a brown haired boy with green eyes I’ve known since I was ten- as he puffed on his joint, “is truth or dare.”
“Only tell the truth and accept all dares graciously,” slurred Shayde, necking some whiskey.
“I’m first!” declared Espen. “Tatum, truth or dare?”
“Truth,” she chose wisely.
“Okay,” Espen stroked his chin in deep thought. “Is it true that you sucked off Bryan for twenty bucks last year?”
“Yes, it’s true,” Tatum confessed shamelessly. I laughed remembering how happy Bryan had seemed and I couldn’t figure out why.
“I knew my sister wasn’t a slut! She’s a prostitute!” yelled Sayer. “Nia, your turn,” Espen said, pointing to her.
She nodded and eyed everyone carefully before settling her gaze on Celeste. “Celeste, truth or dare?”
“Hm…” Celeste thought. I prayed she picked truth, even I knew what would happen if she picked dare. “Dare.” Fuck.
“I dare you to suck off Malak right here,” Nia giggled, taking a sip of vodka.
“Okay!” Celeste accepted cheerfully. She looked over at me, trying to flash sex eyes. “Pants down,” she commanded.
I sighed and lifted my body to pull down my jeans. “You can do the rest,” I told her with a sly grin.
She giggled drunkenly, and crawled onto my legs. She slipped my underwear down and put her mouth around me. Celeste licked and sucked while I lay there moaning. Everyone started giggling. After a moment she stopped and helped me pull my jeans back on. Celeste sat in her previous spot.
“Very nice you two. Tatum, would you like to go?” Espen looked over at her with an eyebrow raised.
Tatum grinned deviously and my stomach went to my throat. “Sure. Sayer, truth or dare?”
“Dare,” Sayer answered automatically.
“I dare you to kiss Malak,” she grinned wickedly, this being her plan all along I felt sure.
“Okay, Malak.” I turned toward Sayer, knowing my face had to be one-million shades of red. Sayer leaned into me, and our lips met. At first it was just a little peck, then his hand cupped my face as he nibbled on my bottom lip. Unable to refuse, my mouth dropped open, and his hot tongue slipped inside. They wrestled around for a moment before I felt something on my body stiffen. I froze and pulled back. Sayer’s face was flushed. “There you go,” he chuckled.
“Shit,” I muttered looking down at my erection. A boy’s kiss shouldn’t do that, right? I’m straight, not gay. I glanced over at Sayer and sure enough, he looked larger than usual. “Double shit.”
“Very nice boys,” Espen clapped. “Lear, your turn.” “Shayde!” Lear pointed to him. “Truth or dare?”
“I believe I’ll go with dare,” Shayde grinned slyly.
“I dare you to kiss Tatum,” Lear laughed as Shayde’s face heated up.
“Alright,” Shayde chocked out. He turned over to face Tatum. She-having no patience whatsoever-leaned in and kissed him full on the mouth.
“Wow, that’s a lot of kissing for one night…” Espen noted, then stood up, swaying a little. “I need the boys,” Espen waved back through the hallway and started down it.
I stood up wobbling a bit, but practically fell over when Sayer grabbed onto my shoulder. I steadied him and we followed the rest of the guys down the hall. It was time for the next game, bang or break.
Sayer and I stepped into the bedroom. I hopped up on the cluttered desk while Sayer collapsed onto the crowded bed. Espen shut the door then sank down to the floor.
“Shayde!” Espen pointed to him. “Tatum, bang or break?”
“Bang,” Shayde answered coolly.
“Dude, that’s my sister,” Sayer said with his eyes wide.
“I know…” Shayde trailed off in thought.
“Anyway, Sayer. Nia, bang or break?” Espen asked. I looked over at Sayer who seemed to be in deep thought. What was he thinking about? He always chose bang. “Break,” Sayer answered and everyone in the room seemed to gasp.
“Since when do you break, Sayer?” Lear asked, poking him in the side.
“Since I’m tired and ready to go home. Malak, are you ready?” Sayer asked sitting up.
“Uh, yeah,” I jumped off the desk and walked over to Sayer.
Espen scooted out of our way, and we disappeared from the party without any of the girls knowing. I got into the driver’s seat of Sayer’s car, he sat in the passenger seat.
“Where to?” I asked, making sure he actually wanted to go to the house.
“Home,” he answered quietly.
I nodded and started up the car. “Home it is then.”
Music was softly playing behind everyone’s chatter. Boys and girls danced with and groped one another. In a corner, some students I recognized sat in a group smoking. A few boys stood in the kitchen, cups of liquor in their hands.
