Chapter Twenty-Two
It was the night of Mac Thomas’s birthday dinner with just the Thomas family and in addition to the Thomas family; Mac invited someone to her special dinner. A man and Mac’s ‘boyfriend’ named Sean Connors. She wants him there because in her words, he had to dump his plans he made before meeting a girl like a month ago and had to go to both of her birthday events: the dinner and the party with her family and friends from soccer and school on Saturday.
Hearing this the day before the dinner and once Mac left the kitchen to somewhere else, Sean turned to Jamie and whispered and kind of joking to her, “She’s taking over my life!”
The moment she heard that, all of that Jamie could do to this situation was to whisper to Sean and said to him, “Don’t even thinking about breaking up with her. Mac seems like one tough cookie but if you do that to her, Mac will cry for days before and I had to smack you with a rolled up paper if you do that to my daughter.”
Smirking right now and joking to her, “Wanna do it?”
At that moment, Jamie just stared at him and begins to look around for a piece of paper to roll up to smack any part of Sean’s body with.
Thinking that the battle of him versus a rolled up paper might make it early appearance right now, Sean covered himself and yelled to a prepared Jamie, “Okay, okay. Just don’t do to me, Jamie. Jesus Christ!” and seconds after saying that to the dangerous woman, Sean got off of the chair he was sitting on and while murmured to himself, “Crazy woman”, Sean walked over to the family room where Michael is watching his TiVo football game on TV and the moment he sat next to Michael, he asked Michael a question.
“Anything good happened?”
“Nope and how Jamie was treating you? I heard what you told her.”
“Acting like a crazy woman on me because I joked about breaking up with Mac and Jamie threatens me with a rolled-up piece of paper, wanting to hit me with it.”
“Tough, man.”
“Yeah”
And the rest of the conversation was such a blur to Jamie.
The moment she heard, Jamie is very happy that Michael and Sean were getting along well with each other. After they came back from work and the moment they were done with dinner, they either went to the den or the family room to watch a sport game on TV or just talk about things going on their lives.
But it looks like Michael is keeping something from them, especially Jamie. Because of that and once they got in bed with each other, the both of them just slept with each other, nothing else and they doesn’t know why they founded each other in odd positions, mostly Jamie’s feet was sitting on the end of the bed end board and sniffing Michael’s feet. Maybe that the husband and wife did it with no memory of it or something like that but it was so plain out of the ordinary for them and it became a running joke between the two of them.
With the kids, Michael did well with them. Mac, Izzie, and Jake love him even more and Michael also loves his three monsters in return. Plus, none of them didn’t do any trouble to him until now.
On the night of the dinner, Jamie cooked Mac’s favorite meals to eat and made a homemade chocolate cake that is sitting in the oven, being baked. While Jamie was cooking, Izzie and Michael decorated the whole dining room plus the head chair of the table, also known as the ‘Birthday Chair’ with balloons and streamers all over it with the help of Jake who pointed at every direction to where to put the balloons and the streamers from one point to another.
While everybody in the Thomas family beside Mac was getting ready for the dinner, Mac Thomas spent that time with Sean who got off early from work at his home, playing games with him, talking with him, and spending some special time with her boyfriend before going back to her own home for her dinner.
At around six o’clock, the plates, cups, napkins, spoons, forks, and knives were set on the table with the platters of food which contains roast chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and salad if anyone don’t want to have that much southern comfort, everything was all set the moment the front door bell had rang.
Walking over to the front door and knowing that behind the door is Mac and Sean, Jamie unlocked and opened the door and after doing that, the door was wide open with a happy and giggling Mac who was holding a grinning Sean’s hand while Sean’s other hand was holding a large purple gift bag which probably contains Mac’s present from Sean. Speaking of the present.
Letting go of Sean’s hand, Mac ran over to her mother with opened arms and once she was in Jamie’s arms, Jamie carried her up and kissing her mother’s face, Mac smiled at her and greeted her by saying, “Hey, Mama. Sean got a present for me but he wouldn’t show me it because he said that it’s a surprise. I am mad at him for that.”
Kissing her oldest daughter who is turning seven that night on the forehead, Jamie smiled at her baby girl and said to her, “ Happy Birthday, Mac and Baby, I am promising you that he’ll show it to you once you blow out your candles on the cake. Fine with that, Mac?”
Mac nodded to her mother for that and with the same smile on her face, she said to her mother, “Fine with that, Mama but now, can you put me down?”
“Sure, Mac.” and moments after that, Jamie put Mac down and watching the girl running off to the dining room to be with her father and sister and brother, Jamie smiled at that and then, turned to Sean who was also watching this and said to him, “Hey, Sean. How was your date with Mac?”
Sean almost blushed when he heard that from Jamie and with a grin on his face, he answered Jamie’s question by saying to her, “It was great. We talked, played some rounds of Candy land together, and gave her some hugs and kisses while Boyd was getting mad at me for not spending any time with him anymore.”
“How was Boyd dealing with this right now?” asked Jamie who was right now, quite worried about this relationship with the man and his best friend. Thinking about it right now, Sean thought about it and then, said to her, “Right now, probably in love with his lady friend he met at Doggy Day Care. He is at her owner’s place right now.”
“Lucky him.” said a smiling Jamie. “Yeah.” said back an also smiling Sean.
The both of them smiled at each other for a few seconds before Michael came into the room and seeing him with Jamie, Michael smiled at Sean while greeted him, “Hey, Sean. How my little girl was treating you?”
In return, Sean turned to Michael and smiled at him while telling him the same thing he told Jamie earlier. After hearing that, Michael told him that was great and before he could tell Sean some more, Mac yelled from the dining room, “Guys, hurry up! My birthday dinner is getting cold and if you guys are not coming here right away, you would not get any!”
Hearing that, the three of the adults stared at each other and to not let Mac get mad at them, the three of them went over to the dining and hopefully for Jamie, this will go well.

DOVEWING PVO
Tigerheart and Dovewing had finished playing around and were lying in the Great Oak together.
Dovewing was breathing in Tigerheart's soft muscular scent and playing with his tail gently. He was sharing tongues with her and talking about each other's life together.
Dovewing was content to be there with him, it had been ages and there were no other cats here, no Bumblestripe, no jealousy. No Ivypool and Toadstep, Cinderheart and Liomblaze and everybody telling her to get a mate, like Bumblestripe.
She was there with who she loved and who she cared about most.
TIgerheart began talking to her slowly, calmly, contently.
"Dovewing, I love you more than ever!" He purred.
"I love you too, Tigerheart." Dovewing murmured.
She crouched down and started to lick his smooth fur and he played around.
"Tigerheart..." Dovewing began.
"Yeah?" Tigerheart asked.
"Will you move to ThunderClan?" She asked.

With this new story, I wanna write a horror story.
It's called Imaginary:
Sierra, a young six year old from Ocean Gate, New Jersey, dies from a car accident and a broken skull. Meanwhile, Molly, from Bayville, gets a new friend. Her name is Sierra.
As Molly's parents notice their daughter acting strange, they start to worry. She always asks to set the table for an extra person, and she always talks to herself in her room.
Sierra is being fueled by something that's in their house, and she's feeding supernaturally off of Molly's body, and strange things start to happen in the house.
Anonymous laughing, horrifying screams, eerie whispering, problems with the power, and worse. Molly gets weaker.
On this supernatural journey, Molly's parents will try to fight something that's beyond them, whatever it takes to save their daughter's life.
In loving memory of Sierra, a childhood friend. I still miss you, and I know your brother does, too!
