Hi my name is Rose and this is a story about an unknown power that took me from my sleep December 29 2999 to a noise out side my window. As I looked out I saw 3 children running around outside yelling at each other. As I stuck my head out my window to call down to them they looked up at me strait into my eyes so me being 16 started to bark crule words at them. The boys didn't respond until a called down to the little girl the only girl there and as I did the boys seemed to be more alert. But the girl just looked up at me. I ran down the steps so i could look at them eye to eye and as I stepped outside the three ran at me and jumped strait to me at a force that would have nocked me to my feet but insted the three went strait into me as if I was made to be empty and then voices strait at me form my own head! "Did we hurt you?" The little girls voice broke into my toughts. "N...no" I stammered."Well arn't you just a little angel" one of the boys said. "Shutup Ricko" the other boys voice said. Now I felt sick to my stomach."Befor you pass out where sprites and your our imprinter our names are Ricko, Lillyan and Gordge thats me," and with that I hit the ground and all befor me went black.
«Are you ok?» a very familiar voice roused me from my dreamless slumber. I sat up and looked around me I was outside my house sitting, no laying on my porch! «NO» I snapped at Koga the one person on earth who would go up to someone unconscious and ask them if they were ok, «HOW ON EARTH COULD I BE OK, I WAS ASLEEP ON MY PORCH!» «Late night?» he joked. I rolled my eyes and got up ignoring the hand he offered me. «Sooooooo why were you asleep on the porch?» I knew he just said this because he hated scilence so I played alon «no idea» I said flatly this only got me a playful eye roll and from there he took off down the path leading to a road which lead to another road which lead to a highway which passed by our school, thus our half hour walk together began. In truth it took fourty-five minuites to get to school but I say thirty because Koga likes to run ahead get distracted until I get there then we'll walk together until his A.D.D sets in and he'll run ahead, get distracted, walk with me then run ahead again until we get to school. At this point I found him sraring at a turttle who in turn was staring back. I sighed out loud «you can stare down the turttle later we have to get to school» I said nudging him with my foot. He gave one last look at the turttle before hopping up and walking with me «you look different» he said at last. «How so?» I asked. His face twisted into a grin as he pulled dirt out of my hair «don't know» he said laughing «you just look a bit earthier.» At that point I had had enough, I stopped, he stopped too but after about thirty seconds his foot started tapping and within a minuite we were walking in scilence, mostly because I had won. «It's cheap doing stuff like that you know» he said at last. I smiled no grinned «what's up with you» he asked nervously. «This is the point you take off» I said, but I was only halfway trough the sentence when he was out of sight.
School is the most repetitive thing on earth, each day you go to the same classes at the same time, get yelled at by the same teachers, which as it happens is the point I'm at right now. «ROSE» my history teacher said irritation woven into his voice. «Yes?» I asked «are you listening» he asked his irritation growing. «I would have to be for me to hear you ask me pointless questions» I said pointitly. He slammed his book down on his desk got up strode over to my desk motioned for me to get up, to which I complyed, pointed to the door, and together we walked out but not before I heard someone wisper «she got a new record today just took her five minuites.» As I was marched down the hall we met up with our math teacher marching Koga and a cupple of other boys down the old dusty hallways, our math teacher is a old witchy looking woman with long white hair that she never brushed and the outfit she was wearing didn't help she was wearing a long purple dress with black sleves, our history teacher however was young just graduated colledge he had short blach hair and a short round nose and he was wearing a white tux. Koga moved over to me and started pulling dirt out of my hair again, not because he cared just because he was borred. Koga is tall and buff (don't let him know I think that) he has deep brown eyes, so deep in brown they almost look red, and his hair color changes once a week,so I wont stsart talking about it,I noticed he had changed cloethes since this morning, he was now wearing blue jeans instead of his usual tan caprees and a loose white tee- shirt replaced his usual black one. I motioned to his new look «that look the result of another prank?» I asked. He grinned because the scilence was broken «yeah this outfit and a trip to the principal office». «Hush» both teachers snapped but it was too late the depressing veil that had covered the boys was gone and now they wouldnt shutup. When we got to the principal's office I gave off a scilent sigh of releif now they would shutup. «Ladys first the boys said in unison» to which their teacher smacked them in the head, but all my teacher did was motion to the door. The two of us walked in there and set down, our principal was a very old man with a very good memory and a very happy attitude twards kids, the bad side: to him highschoolers aren't kids. «Ms.Rose you're early» he said glaring at me. «I am not the only person in your office right now so lets skip the formalitys» I said but in truth my stomach was making me feel sick and light headed. «Stay unti three» he sais flatly and I left his small office but before going back to the hall I sat down beside Koga. He grinned but his grin dropped the second he looked at my face but at that point my body was falling. I guess I expected to hit the ground which is why I was so suprised when my arm was jerked and I was falling backwards and landed in Koga's arms. «Koga get her to the nurse» my math teacher said worry woven in her voice. It took me a long time to figure out that I was being carried down the hall and that my body was burning. «Your ok right?» a voice slipped into my head. My eyes flew opened and I tried to sit up. «Calm down» Koga's voice this time and for some rison I felt safer. «You feelin alright?» he asked «Yeah so put me down» I said my body was on fire now and I ducked into the restroom in case my body started making me lose my dinner. I looked up into a mirror to see how I looked. As I looked into the mirror I about had a heart attack, looking right back at me was a child and then everything about last night came back to me.

Journal,
Its cold. My food is almost gone, I can’t feel my hands. I lost my hat; my ears are frozen. My sisters are dying. Sasha has pneumonia, and Nastea’s lost her coat and shoes. My hair is falling out. I look at the broken down train behind us. Tree’s sleep soundlessly on top of it. I sit at a tree trunk, with you on my lap, and a scrawny pencil in my hand. Nastea sits beside Sasha, feeding her berries and herbs. I hope things get better, Journal. I hope things get better.
Bye Journal,
Nadia
