I quickly crossed the grassy field, not looking both ways. Today had been terrible. Well, more terrible than usual. There's the usual; my mom doesn't wake me up on time and even though every night I set my alarm,it still never goes off, didn't have enough time to eat breakfast, and then left something at home and had go drive back.
But something was off today. The way the air had turned suddenly hot in the middle of winter. The way my teacher sat and stared blankly at her desk. The way every person I passed seem to have their eyes glued to me.
I was too busy with reading to notice a guy that was running straight towards me. He slammed into me and I wobbled back on my heels. Luckily I have always had pretty good balance so I stayed upright while he fell forward just to the side of me,a football rolling across the field.
He jumped back up and I pressed my fingers into a now sore spot.
"Woah! I'm sorry. Are you ok?"
I winced at the sore spot but I nodded and looked up.
"Um,yeah. I'm fine. Thanks." The boy standing in front of me had strawberry blonde hair and eyes the color of the sea.
He grinned and said,"Oh,that's good. I'm Pier-"
"Yo! Pierce c'mon! Pass the football."
He shrugged and picked up the football. When he got about half-way back to his friend I yelled out,"Narella! My name is Narella!"
I couldn't stop smiling in the hallway. I mean,my day has been pretty bad,but when you meet a really cute guy,it kinda gets better. You see, thats were I was wrong.
When I was walking down the hallway,a girl was coming the other way,her chestnut hair flowing over her shoulders. I could still feel all the stares from the other kids, but this girls was icy. I couldn't help but stare back, and when she passed me,she locked her long fingers around my wrist and started pulling.
"What are you doing?" I yelped, but the girl didn't seem to listen. Instead, she tugged harder. I started trying to get peoples attention, but they all seemed like they were asleep.
The girl took me to the old english building, the one that was left for the new one but hadn't been torn down yet.
She kicked the door open and shoved me in. Almost immediately a guy that was already in there grabbed my wrists.
"Should I keep hold of her,Alyssa?"
The girl shook her head, sending her glossy hair rippling.
"No,she's one of the quiet ones. She won't do anything."
The guy dropped my wrists and I turned and glared at him. Then I turned on the Alyssa chick and shoved her.
I know,I know, violence is not the answer, blah blah blah, but it was my first instinct. The girl stumbled back, but caught herself by grabbing the wall. Her hair was messed up and her face flushed with anger.
"On second thought,Jack..."
The guy pinned my arms behind my back. I could feel my face heating up with anger. Alyssa slowly walked forward,a wicked smile spreading across her face.
"That was your first mistake. Anymore, and I'll have Jack do something I won't regret."
Jack squeezed my wrists hard and didn't release the pressure. I gritted my teeth.
"Now,you're going to tell me what I know. What is happening? Why is everyone so interested in you. What did you do?"
I made a face. "What the heck are you talking about?"
"You know."
"Uh,no I don't. Does it look like I do?"
Her blue eyes flashed and it looked like she was about to rip my hair out when the door opened.
"Alyssa. What are you doing?"
The voice sounded familiar but it was too dark so I couldn't place the voice to a face.
"Simply teaching Narella a lesson."
Jack bent my joints to far back and I gasped. I could hear shuffling and then a loud pop noise next to me. The pressure on my arms released and Jack stumbled back. From the light from the now open door,I turned and saw blood running down Jack's busted lip.
The guy who had opened the door was panting next to me and I looked up to see who it was.
"Pierce?"
Please tell me what you think. Prettyyyy pleaaseee(:

I wrote this yesterday when me and my boyfriend had a big fight and it's a fight that may go on for a long time. I know I am young to write something like this but, I guess it helps. Plus If you don't like it just tell me, ok?
The Power of Words
You and I had this big long fight,
It felt like the storm during the night.
It was verry sad and cold,
My friends had to like you a lot
and you felt like I forgot,
forgot about you.
But I had a prodject due.
You think you're mr. I'm so cool
but you used to act like a ghool.
Not to the people you love,
to the sensetive people like a dove.
How we spoke with eachother,
made you feel much better.
But the fight we had,
you said was nothing but it was bad.
See ya pal we're ova,
take the cell you gave me and do me a fava.
Just don't ever,
Never...
Talk to me again!
