“That is impossible. My mother worked at a circus” Robin said
“Whenever she had spare time, she would visit the dojo and teach me some new gymnastics moves” I countered “She was like a mother to me”
“Okay then. Back to the present. Are you okay? You seemed a bit edgy when we talked. Or, more like when you asked me for directions” he smiled
“Yeah, I’m fine” I said as I walked to the high bar. I climbed up, then started doing chin up’s again.
“Okay, so you won’t mind if I bring them here, and get them to kiss?” he taunted
“Nope“ I replied. He left. I jumped up onto the bar again and started to meditate. Images filled my head, much clearer this time. They were of a man in a red helmet, shooting at people, people dying. I jumped down from the bar and sprinted out to the mission room. I called up a screen and started typing rapidly, trying to find the man in the red helmet. I searched through every villain until I found him. His name was Red Hood. I rushed out to the bio ship and got in. I started it up and flew right to Arkham Asylum. That’s where the bio said he should be. When I got there, I jumped from the ship and ran to the door.
“Excuse me, is Red Hood currently in your custody?” I asked the guard
“Yes, why?” the guard replied
“No reason. Just please, keep him there” I said. I got back in the bio ship relived, and flew back home. Robin, Artemis and Wally were waiting for me there. I walked by calmly, acting as if I never left. I walked back to the gym and practiced my walking handstands. I saw Batman come in.
“I heard you just visited Arkham” he said
“Yup. Just checking something” I agreed
“Who were you checking on? Joker? Killer Frost? Red Hood?” he asked
“Why? What’s it to you if I decided to check in on a certain villain?” I demanded
“Just curious” he said
“If it really means that much to you, I went to check in on Red Hood” I admitted
“Why?” Batman asked
“Because I had a strange vision of him shooting and killing a bunch of people. It was so realistic; I needed to check if he was still in jail” I explained
“Oh. Okay. How long have you been having these visions?” he asked
“Since I kicked Robin in the face when we first met. In my defense, I didn’t know him then, and I was still being corrupted by my masters” I admitted
“Okay. It might have been déjà vu in visions because the first Robin, Jason Todd, was beat in the nose with a cane, then exploded with dynamite” Batman explained, but I didn’t hear him because I had a vision.
