“Willow!”
“Billy! What are you doing here?!”
“I live here. What's with the team? Why are you snooping around my house?”
“I didn't know it was yours.”
“Sure you didn't.”
“I thought you lived in Star.”
“Nope. I can be there in a flash. No need to live there.”
“Anyways, we're looking for a team member. Hey! Maybe you've seen her?”
“I don't know.”
“She goes by Becca. Has black hair with red streaks, big brown eyes. Kinda emotional right now. Carries tons of weapons.”
“Hmmm....Oh! I did see her. She was heading towards Gotham.”
“No one was with her?”
“Nope. Not after I took her from her house.”
“Why'd you take her?”
“Heard her scream, thought it was a villain. Running too fast to tell. But she set me straight when she woke up. Then left.”
“Thanks Billy.”
“No problem, Willow. Now, introduce me to your team.”
“Oh! This is Alessia, Mercy, Superboy, Aqualad, Robin, and kid Flash. And you already met Megan and Artemis last time.”
“Yep. Hey are you still single?”
Willow smiled and shook her head.
“Nope.”
Billy grinned and Willow rolled her eyes.
“My loss. So...you guys planning on leaving or are you going to stick around?”
“What's the matter, Billy? I thought you loved having guests.”
“Pfft. Yeah right. You guys can come in if you want. One of my friends might be able to help you.”
“Well...”
Willow looked back to the others. They seemed fine with entering this speedster's house. All but Wally. He looked very angry and jealous. Willow kinda enjoyed it. She turned back to Billy.
“I'll go on one condition.”
Billy quirked an eyebrow at her.
“You HAVE to phase me through!”
Billy laughed as a smile lit his face.
“Sure! I'll need to open the gate anyhow. Come here.”
Willow went up to him and he scooped her up, running through the wall.
“Whoa! Too bad you can't do that Wally,” Artemis teased.
“At least I have powers!”
“Lame ones.”
A gate swung open, allowing the others to enter. They filed in and found Billy on the other side, Willow just now getting on her feet. Billy led them inside and showed them the front room.
“Sorry you can't see the rest. There are some holes from the previous owners. And all kinds of junk.”
“It's okay, Billy. We just need to talk to your friend.”
“Sure thing Willow. Let me get him online.”
Billy clicked a button on a remote and a giant TV screen covered a good portion of the wall. A small keyboard appeared next to where Billy stood and he typed a few commands. A face appeared on the screen, eyes covered by an indigo blue domino mask.
“Speed! What up?”
“Not much. I have a few people who are looking for a girl.”
“Dude, I am NOT a matchmaker.”
“No. They are looking for a girl who's MIAing. Think you could find her?”
“Sure. Give me a name.”
“Her name is Rebecca Uccello Stevens,” Willow spoke up.
“Hmm...okay. Let's see. Rule out that, that, and that. Is she Italian?”
“Only a little,” Robin answered.
“Okay. Is she Romanian?”
“Yeah.”
“Grew up in the circus? Lost her parents at the age of nine and never entered a foster home like she was supposed to?”
“That's her.”
“Well, you're in luck. She's on her way to Arkham Asylum. I don't know why, but you might have a clue.”
