“I've searched all forms, every file, and all the routes. I searched everything. Becca isn't here.”
“Well then this Billy guy lied.”
“Wally!” Willow exclaimed. “You don't him! Billy is a good guy! Leave him out of this because you're jealous!”
“I am NOT jealous!” Wally fired back.
“Yes you are! Just cause he was flirting with me! AND because his powers are more advanced than yours!”
“I am not jealous!”
“Shut up!” Artemis ordered. “This is no time for a lover's spat!”
“Artemis is right! You guys still have each other! Wally, just accept the fact that there's a speedster with a cooler powers than yours!” Robin snapped. “Becca is still missing! I thought we all wanted her back but I guess you two could care less!”
Willow immediately apologized, moving closer to Erin than Wally. Devin watched and wondered aloud.
“Becca's disappearance has affected each of us differently. But I can't help and wonder if you two have not talked about what happened the time Willow and Artemis needed an antidote. But you must put that need away right now. We have a girl to find.”
“I'm sorry Devin,” Willow whispered.
“It's alright, Willow. You are hurting over recent...affairs for lack of a better word. Becca needs you right now. Are you ready to help her?”
“Yes.”
Devin smiled, hugging the girl.
“I just wish Becca would've said goodbye when we were sent to Young Justice. She didn't even acknowledge us telling her.”
“Willow,” Erin began. “You know her. Becca doesn't do goodbyes. She's said too many.”
“I know. But I miss her.”
“Willow, you, Erin and I need to go.” Devin looked at the others. “We'll be back in a few minutes.”
Devin lead the two around a corner, sitting a distance way from the building.
“Okay. We need to talk. Willow, I know your past has been much like Becca's. You feel something though, don't you?”
Willow nodded, putting both hands to her heart.
“I feel like there's a deep weight, something that feeds the pain rather than heals it. But this isn't my feeling. It's Becca's. What does it mean Devin?”
“I'll explain in a minute. Erin. You've been feeling a good amount of pain over this. Yet you keep having this feeling you haven't shared. What is it?”
“Devin, I feel lost. I can't explain it. It's like I'm guilty, but not. Like I'm dead and alive. Safe and imprisoned. Weak and strong. I'm so many things I feel lost in my pain.”
“Erin, what you feel is not normal. But you probably have had something similar happen in your past, which is why you feel so....contradictory. Correct?”
“Yes.”
Devin turned to Willow.
“Now. You told me you feel what Becca does. You know the two of you are connected. You always have been. But you can't explain the reason for your pain. Becca is a restless soul. She has to keep moving or all the past pains will hurt her. But it seems the pain has finally caught up. That's why you feel how you do. Becca's past has caught up to her and she wants to be released.”
