Mount Justice, 3:42 a.m.
The wind curled around the rain-drenched mountain, and light rolled down to the bay as a red ship flew in the hanger. The teens inside were solemn and cold. The silence screamed tragedy, and even without this, it was clear on the faces of the team. Robin, Fin and Delta all sat on the couch, each of them shivering in a blanket except Fin, who stared blankly into space. Aisling sat curled with Wally, and Zatanna had her feet in a bucket of warm water, sneezing every couple of seconds. Artemis and Megan had gone to bed, also sneezing with runny noses.
Kaldur and Conner both entered the main rooms of the cave and everyone looked towards them with hope in their hearts. Kaldur lowered his head, and Conner looked away- a sign that crushed any glimmer of chance in everyone's mind.
A heart-wrenching sob caught in Fin's throat, and she lept from the couch and went for the depths of her room, ignoring the calls from her siblings and friends. Why this time? Why now? Throwing herself onto the matress, she finally let the tears spill from her covered eyes and onto the pillow. Curling up, her mind began to flash back to the chain of events that had led up to her mindless breakdown.
The Arctic. They all knew how unforgiving it could be- frozen, dark and confusing. But they had to go- a new mission. New intel.
Their winter suits did nothing for them, however, and one by one the team had to go back to the bioship. Finally, two were left- Nathan, and herself. He was fighting as hard as possible, but stil his teeth were chattering and his lips were blue.
"Go back!" she had screamed over the snowstorm. To her, the cold was nothing but a nuisance, like flies near a horse. She could deal with it. He could not. "Nathan, go back!"
"No. Not without you! I'm not giving the mission up just because I can't stand it! We go together or die trying!" he yelled. She watched him carefully, then nodded, and the storm suddenly grew worse.
He lost whatever sight he had of her, as did she. Panic filled her heart. "Nathan?" she yelled. But the noise never reached him, and he continued to speed away from her, attepting to find the bioship, but going in the opposite direction. She went in the correct direction, screaming desperately. "Nathan!!"
Fin awoke in a cold sweat, her pillow nearly soaked through. A dream? No. More like a living nightmare. She hugged her legs to her chest and quietly cried. "Nathan..." she whispered between tears. "Forgive me."

I watch you stand,
You enjoy,
You spinn my head,
I know your name, Roy.
You cant hide,
I will find you,
A guy like you, should wear a warning.
I can see you now,
I can see you there,
Watching me,
But maybe, i dont care.
Your red hair,
Your eyes i can watch,
You love me,
Kick it up a notch?
Babe you cant have me,
I like to play hard to get,
You cant catch me,
I'll take my chance, its a bet.
I slip through you fingers everytime,
I kiss your lips,
I run through your hair,
With my finger tips.
And as my tohuge touched you,
I stood on the ledge, and fell back,
You try to catch,
But i slipp through.
Your face is stone cold,
But i know your mourning,
A guy like you,
Should wear a warning.
You enjoy,
You spinn my head,

I'm standing, i'm hiding,
You can't see me, invisible,
But i'm fighting.
I'm fighting on the inside,
I'm fighting with my heart,
You see me, whole,
But I know,
I'm falling, falling,
Apart.
Memories are going,
We are fighting, on the rooftop,
Close to falling, way up high,
Our silhouettes, shadows for,
The night sky.
You're tired, as am I
But one must win,
We won't give up,
Fighting, in pain, I
must end,
Now cry.
You've won, that's fine,
But you take pity, forget the fight,
You helped me, you saved me,
Gave me my light.
You can't see me, invisible,
But i'm fighting.
I'm fighting on the inside,
I'm fighting with my heart,
You see me, whole,
But I know,
I'm falling, falling,
