The Scavenger
Prologue-
Anaxis, to start off, was not your ordinary girl. She was a witch. Not just any witch, but a member of the Freedom Fighters. A hero whose code name was Crow.
Her skin was white and she dressed in black clothes. The clothes looked similar to a halloween costume of a witch. Her medium, black hair flowed down her back as gracefully as her quiet spells. Her body was curvy and beautiful as most teenagers' are.
She was of an extremely high intellectual ability and was bored easily by puzzles that intrigued even the best detectives in the world.
Her partner was Black Voltage. He was an african-American whose dreadlocks hung down by his shoulders. His chocolate brown eyes always glistened with mischief. His superhero suit was a black muscle shirt and sweatpants. He had special gloves on that protected himself from his electrical powers.
The two were around sixteen years old and two of the world's most powerful beings.
The Freedom Fighter's base was an old Nazi base used in World War II. It was buried yards underground and furnished everything they needed; comfort, a safe place to stay, privacy and secrecy, and where they could receive their missions.
The day was late when Crow had returned from patrol around the base. Using her sorcery, she could've easily checked the perimeter from her bedroom, but her blue alien leader had forced her to go manually check it.
Anaxis walked into the common room. Most other Freedom Fighters were off for the night to spend time with their families. Voltage was the only one in the room, playing a familiar cuboid game on the computer.
"Watcha playing?" Crow asked, walking up.
"Minecraft, you build and survive in your own world." Voltage answered.
"Doesn't everyone play that?'' Crow asked, yawning.
"A lot of people, yes. It's very addicting." Voltage responded. "Why do you care?"
Crow grinned as if Voltage had just given her an excuse and snapped her fingers. The two teens appeared in a dark world. Lava and fires raged everywhere. The world looked like an Apocalypse.
"Now?" Crow asked, turning to Voltage and grinning. "Wanna have a real adventure?"
Voltage looked around in wonder. Crow had created her own world! A hellish world yes, but her own world! As he watched, his uniform appeared on him.
"Let's get to it!" he exclaimed.
Should I continue or not?
(Sorry about using Minecraft, I figured just about everyone knew what it was.)
