She flew over the rocky terrain, breathing in the fresh air. Her blackened wings flapped gently, pulling her above the ground and towards the clouds. She folded in her wings as she got closer to the ground. She landed on her feet gently. She walked around a little, relishing the cold breeze flying through the summer air. She found a patch of yellow wild roses and picked one.
She heard a flapping noise behind her, turning to look. Nothing but a bluebird. She went back to walking around. When the sun started to set, she turned to go back. She got closer to the edge of the mountain, about to open her wings. A hand wrapped around her waist, locking her arms at her sides. Another hand snaked around her neck, holding a knife to the sensitive flesh.
“Teague! Let me go!”
A tinkling laugh echoed in her ears.
“Sorry to disappoint Devin, but it's not Teague. Or do you not remember?”
“Amber?”
“Good angel! Now stay still. Or I'll cut you.”
Devin stayed still as Amber released her arms. She felt a tug at her neck before Amber held up the necklace.
“No! That's mine!”
Amber laughed again.
“Be honest with me Devin. Birdboy gave this to you. But we both know you don't deserve it, right?”
Devin closed her eyes, tears sliding past.
“Right,” she whispered.
“See? So keep calm. This necklace belongs to me now. And soon so will everything else that you currently own.”
Amber placed a hand to Devin's back. The angel gasped as she felt her wings grow cold and hard.
“My dearest Devin, your wings are now crystals. So the question is do I push you off the cliff and send you back to Hell or do I keep you alive to have you watch as I steal everything from you?”
Devin whimpered as the knife dug into her skin.
“Oh you know I can't get enough of that sound! So...alive you shall be. But only until I take everything that is yours. Starting with this necklace and ending with your angel's life.”

Revenge watched. The Shadow placed something in the drawer and began to close it.
Revenge jumped down and kicked him in the face. The shadow fell to the ground. Revenge pinned him before opening the drawer. The body was disintegrated, an acid ate through the flesh, muscles, bones, everything. Revenge collected a sample before he saw the grenade.
It was a timed grenade. And the timer indicated ten seconds before detonation.
"Shit!"

Revenge stumbled away. The woman looked at the needle in her hand. The blood within was mixed with a strange brown mixture. Revenge gripped his arm and glared at the woman.
"A simple test will tell me who is beneath the mask, Red Revenge. And your secret will belong to me."
"Not likely." Revenge growled.
"Oh, but that's not all it does." she continued. "It poisons the blood stream. Corrupts the DNA within cells and eventually kills them."
"Nerve gas."
"In a liquid form, yes Red Revenge."
