First trailer for Ashley Tisdale’s new show ‘Clipped’ released! WATCH

The first official trailer for Ashley’s new TBS sitcom ‘Clipped’ hit the web this week, and it’s got us pretty excited to see the ‘High School Musical’ alum back on the small screen.

Ashley is set to play Danni in the new comedy series, which tells the story of a group of young adults who find themselves working together at a Boston hair salon. But in a bit of a twist, the group actually find out that they all know each other from high school, where they grew up as part of very different cliques.

Joining the ‘Suite Life of Zack and Cody’ actress in the hilarious new sitcom? Former ‘Cheers’ actor George Wendt, as well as ‘Blended’ star Lauren Lapkus and ‘Bad Santa’s’ Ryan Pinkston.

Though any other storylines we can expect are being kept under wraps for now, Ashley appeared to let slip on Instagram recently that we may just get to see her show off her other talent in the show with a song or two.

The blonde beauty posted a pic of herself rocking out behind the mic on her official Instagram page in April, giving fans a very special look at a “behind the scenes shot” of herself “singing on #Clipped.”

As we previously reported, the ‘He Said, She Said’ singer also used the photo sharing site to break the news of her new TV gig in March, telling her more than 3.6 million followers that she was “so excited” and “so nervous” about starting work on her new role in the comedy.

“GUYS ITS HAPPENING!!” the excited star wrote alongside a snap of the script for the upcoming show, adding “It’s finally here #CLIPPED, formerly called Buzzys, is starting NEXT week!!”
