Chiyo-chan was definitely the smartest Azumanga Daioh character. She was the type of person everyone likes.Compared to other characters,her height,age,and naivete was most valuable for the comedic entertainment.However,her smarts began to form as a factor for the comedic entertainment when she was compared to Tomo. This was a one sided competition(Tomo's point of view)about grades,which a couple of comic strips were about.Chiyo chan's largest downfall was gym.When they saw the results of her test,Tomo is happy that she won,while Yomi tried to help Chiyo chan feel better. After that,Chiyo-chan won on an educational test making her feel very happy. Chiyo's personality made her a stood-out character,smart,naive,and childish emotions that are still inside her. She is most likely to be the favorite character of all Azumanga Daioh fans!
