He walks along the beach.

The city is no longer crumbling into the sea, brick and concrete eaten by the angry waves. It's been rebuilt, stacks of buildings that trip into the distance like dominoes. Dom thinks about how easily he could make them fall, the sound they would make as they tumbled into one another, the satisfying crunch of it. He doesn't though, lets them continue to stand ramrod straight in the sun.

He sees her finally, in the distance, her head bobbing on the surface of the water. She's struggling in the vicious surf, waves knocking her down as soon as she gets her...

Quotes:
Cobb: It's...it's the chance to build cathedrals and entire cities, things that never existed, things that can't exist in the real world. I need an architect who's as good as I was.

Ariadne cleared her throat and nodded quickly, brushing a loose curl behind her ear.

"Uh-uh, just a little nervous is all."

Dom brushed his thumb against Ariadne's jaw, laying a peck on her cheek.

"Don't worry, they'll love you."

Ariadne smiled slightly, standing up on her tiptoes to return his kiss. She hoped...

No, goddammit.

No!

Dom could barely feel the pain in his hands as he tightened his grip on the bars, the top ridges digging deep into his palms.

This can't be real…

Dom squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head, refusing to believe that the sight before him was in fact, real.

He leaned his forehead against the cold steel, removing one hand and fishing through his pants pocket.

Cobb froze, suddenly beginning to panic.

It wasn't there.

Now he didn't know for sure if this was real or not, the tormenting...
