In this storyline, the main mages are either children and/or grand-children of the original characters (Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Erza, etc.....) Now there are all new guilds, new magic, etc.....

Alex: Not strong enough to fight Kane. ~sighs~ The only way to beat Kane is for you five to open your Second Origin. But there is only one magic that can do that and its my Arc of Time Magic

Alex: I'll explain as best I could.......... All magic comes from a "center" within the caster. We call this "center" the Origin. Every time you use your magic, the "magic level" in your Origin decreases which causes fatigue and exhaustion. So basically, you are limited to how much magic you use. There is a "storage" for your extra magic, which is called the Second Origin. That is locked at all times and through years and years of intense magical training, you'll be able to unlock it. The result is you'll be 5x stronger than before.

Alex: There is faster but painful way to unlock the Second Origin. That would be to use Arc of Time Magic to altar the future to unlock it. All your parents used this technique except for Erza cause already had her Second Origin, hence her name of "Titania". So there you have, unlocking your Second Origin is the only way to beat Kane

Alex: Its not like you have half their magic. Right now your magic isnt as strong as theirs because you only have the First Origin while they have their Second Origin.... I cant tell you that, You need to figure that on your own
