It's not really that surprising. I think that the studios need to realise that international fans want to watch the programme as soon as they can after it has been broadcast in America. I don't download the show, but I do watch it online. And I re-watch the show when it is broadcast in the UK. When I first watched it online, I tried to watch it on the actually NBC website, but you can only watch it if you live in the USA. Why don't they set up some way for international fans to watch it online live, or even a day or two later. I would even pay a small fee for doing this.

Like it says in the article, they need to do something otherwise it surely won't survive another season.

I agree, they need to do something for the international fans.

I live in Australia, and until this year we only recieved 4 free-to-air channels. As a result if things weren't huge hits they would be bumped and moved around into ever changing time slots until they were cut from the programming schedule altogether. We have had a few new channels air recently, and one of them is playing Heroes, starting back at season 2!!

I have even tried purchasing the newer episodes from iTunes and other legit sites, but as a viewer outside the US they aren't available to me. It is frustrating as a fan to miss out on the great shows time and time again simply because I am not a US resident.
