Even though the idea is taken (VERY Sadly T-T), how should I write/draw my own Philippines without copying the other Filipino OCs?

I feel really bad, but the truth couldn't be avioded. Some people already thought about making their own oc based on the Philippines, which really hurts me right here *Padding on my broken heart*, and their Ocs draws are pretty good too. The female Philippines is popular on DA, and no I didn't look at the other sites (Fanfiction, Quizilla, Google, & whatnot).

BUT HERE'S THE THING!- I've been researching about the Philippines relationships, conflicts and everything about the country just so I can write a story about it!

Now I'm stuck between making own verse of Philippines or just dropping the idea and make some other character.

Seriously I REALLY don't want to go bump all the info I've come across because someone else publish it first.

So, that's why I'm here! Check them and come back (If u would be so kind) and tell me what would make my oc different from the rest.

I think you should just search around and look at others OCs of the Philippines and just base yours around theirs. I understand what you mean about copying, so maybe take bits of ideas, maybe like design, or character or you can just make your own version.

For example just think and write/sketch some ideas about how you think the Philippines would be like, appearance and personality wise before looking up. When I draw OCs thats usually what I think about first, chances are due to the big amounts of Philippines OCs I've seen, yours might end up in a way like someone else's, but that's quite alright. Make the Philippines your own, and don't worry about someone else's, I mean, unless if it's EXACTLY the same, which I doubt...

*sniff* Thnk u greatly for encouraging me w/ ur kindness! ^-^ I never thoguht about imagining my oc myself w/out doing the research first! Great tips there! XD
