Funny you should ask.. I haven't actually read the book, I just thought I would be fun to pull some names up of a hat (that was irony, BTW).

But Cassandra Clare has definitely read them and she thinks this cast is great.

Alex Pettyfer should be Jace but Alexz JOhnson CAN´T be Clary

I agree with Gaspard Ulliel as Alec and Alex Pettyfer as Jace. Some of the others fit too.
