Literally nothing is worse than liking many components of a song (like the beat, the guitar riff, and the lyrics) but then the vocals come in and ruin it. Or the vocals are good but the guitar riff is all jacked up.
Basically liking every part of a song and then that one element comes in and ruins the whole song for you.
When bands have the same lineup for years and suddenly switch it--especially bad if I haven seen them in concert yet. Don't get me wrong, I usually like the new singer too, but I miss the old.

The artists turn out to be jerks so you can't listen to their music in quite the same way.
The artist
dies and it's hard to listen to. Like I seriously have trouble listening to Shinee because of the nature of Jong Hyun's death. It's really just heartbreaking.
